Humber Valley Sod Farm has been proudly serving the region since 2010, building on a strong farming tradition that dates back to 1946. Founded by Dave Sharpe, the farm quickly became known for its commitment to quality, with a focus on using the right equipment and proven techniques to produce consistently premium sod.
In 2025, new ownership marked the next chapter for the farm. Now led by Richard, Humber Valley Sod Farm continues to grow with a renewed focus on efficiency, reliability, and delivering exceptional results. With a background in heavy civil construction, a Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology (Surveying), and a lifetime of hands-on experience with heavy equipment, Richard brings a practical, results-driven approach to the operation.
